Hello everyone!!

Visitors, permanent guest, fellow artists, fellow procrastinators, and all life forms!

The name is Miko Denise, call me Mikz.

My interest in photography started when I had a basic photography class back at college. I didn't know much about photography then: be it framing, aperture and composition, it was practically gibberish to me then. We even worked with film and SLR then, quite an experience I have to say. After taking that class photography became a part of me. So since then, armed with a point-and-shoot, I took the position of the family photographer for family outings and school events and shot away.

I have recently been able to get a DSLR so I have been trying to develop my technique and learn more about photography, among others. I am relatively amateur so some of my works won't be up to par. I'm open to constructive criticisms so feel free to offer up your opinion to my works. I have a flickr account as well as a deviantart account were post my work, which will usually be linked to the photo that I post here.

As of May 23, 2012, I have chosen to overhaul the contents of this blog, as I mentioned in my post Overhaul, I have chosen to delete from this blog works of other artist. As much as appreciate their works, I have chosen to use my own ability and thus I have chosen to post works that I have taken myself.
